More realism than previous FIFA installments,

This review is from: FIFA Soccer 2005 (Video Game)
This game plays and looks more realistic than any of the previous FIFA games. This will be a plus for most soccer fans, but may be a drawback for those who want a fast and furious arcade-like game. There are more shooting/passing/crossing/ball control possibilities than ever before, and this alone makes the game more faithful to what actual play is like. Off-the-ball control is improved, particularly the throw ins, the control of which was incredibly poor in previous FIFA games. Also, career mode is revamped, and now is modified so that you, as a rookie manager, must start with a one or two star team and better your reputation to get contracts with better teams. This again, may be a plus or a drawback, depending on your commitment to the game.

the best fifa to date,

This Fifa is the best fifa to date, winning eleven had it beat for years then ea sports got their act together and created this... the gameplay is magnificent, combining the best of previous Fifa's and Euro 04 as well, lobbed through balls, early and low crosses are all incorporated. The skill moves are fabulous and they actually work this time around, this is the closest youll come to playing for real. The graphics are A+ and the players have never looked more realistic. The much touted "first touch control" adds a whole new dimension to the game... kind of like the step they took when they finally added chest trapping in fifa 98. My favorite part of this (and the reson i got x box live) was the online gaming... ive never had more fun playing online or otherwise. In fact, the online is so much fun i havent even gotten time to finish a regular in game tournament or the career mode. Ive been an avid fifa fan since fifa 96, and it seemed that whenever EA took one step forward with this game, they took two back..but with the latest installment, they took the biggest leap forward in all departments. Its like they finally listened to all the critisism of past and decided to put things right (or they played a lot of winning eleven!)
anwyays if you like fifa, or soccer in general, get this game, its as good as soccer gets. Admendment: The soundtrack is very fun and doesnt get boring.

Best Fifa Game, but it doesn't reaches starhood,

This review is from: FIFA Soccer 2005 (Video Game)
I bought this game even without having played it cause I knew what I was taking. Being a big soccer fan, it was one of the games to have. And I was not disappointed. Improved gameplay, improved graphics, improved controls, improved everything. Extended teams and players database, various game modes... you are never get bored of this game.
But... (there's always a but), the two flaws I think this game has are it's narrators and that the players always look small... and if you zoom the camera too much, you loose your omniscent view of the field. But nothing is perfect in this life, so you what's nearest to perfection. Get Fifa. 2115|R20ADRHNLYSMNS;2115|R3HPT5N3258SOI;2115|RI1SL6JYBP5MZ;
