First great DS sports game,

You know a DS sports game must be good if respected sites like IGN give it 8 stars out of 10. Based on this initial review, I bought the game and was not dissapointed. This is a full 3d game with a host of different viewing angles. I am still learning the controls, but can say they are tight and intuitive. The graphics are awesome, and with a screen magnifier, look even better. You has loads of teams to choose from and several different modes. Al in all, this is as close to a console soccer game ever ported to a nintendo handheld system. Granted the PSP version is nicer looking, but for half the price, the DS more than holds it own.

I wasn't disappointed when i bought this game. Nintendo Ds first soccer game and it is very entertaining. Music is good - probably about 6 different tracks in the game, match commentary runs while you play which was a very pleasant suprise - even better it is the BBC's John Motson, a classic british soccer commentator. All the teams you can think of are in here and ever league and cup competition you can think of (pretty much) so plenty of replay value. The AI is good, not to easy, not too tough - however once you have mastered the controls and team you will be running rings around people! The general feel and presentation of this game is excellent - and its cheap too! Only gripe is no manager mode - maybe in Fifa 2007????

THIS GAME IS GREAT. ALTHOUGH I HAVENT BOUGHT IT YET, MY FRIEND HAS IT AND WE PLAY EACHOTHER USING THE DOWNLOAD PLAY. IT IS A GREAT MULTIPLAYER GAME. THERE IS NO MANAGER MODE LIKE IN THE CONSOLE SYSTEM GAMES (GAMECUBE, PS2, XBOX) BUT THE SEASON MODE IS GREAT. NOT AS IN-DEPTH AS MANAGER MODE, (YOU DONT COMPLETE TRANSFERS, SEND SCOUTS, OR MANAGE FINANCES) BUT STILL GREAT. THE GAMEPLAY IS WONDERFUL AND THE GRAPHICS SO GOOD I WONDER HOW THEY ARE ON A NINTENDO DS. ONE NEAT THING IN THIS GAME THAT ARENT IN THE OTHERS IS THE CREATE A TEAM. YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE THE PLAYERS, THE LOGO, AND THE JERSEYS. I GIVE THIS GAME 2 THUMBS UP!
