For custom Web publishing, the FileMaker Web Server Connector bridges FileMaker to third-party Web servers (Apache and Microsoft IIS) so you can take advantage of plug-ins and features of the Web server, including SSL and server-side includes. Support for leading standards such as XML and JDBC allows you to put your data where you need it. In addition, the record-by-record security feature allows users to view only the data for which they are authorized. A variety of other access and security features give you maximum flexibility in determining the data individuals can access.
