Searles is great with descriptive detail and she is off to another adventure in Filet Mignon. Gambol Beach is so well described that I recognize it, along with the sand dunes, and the cult's temple!

This review is from: FILET MIGNON A Mrs. Millet & Mrs. Hark Mystery (Paperback)
For any fan of Margaret Searle's TERLINGUA ALE and DEVONSHIRE CREAM, the latest in the series, FILET MIGNON will be a treat. The ladies become involved with mysterious, fun-to-read characters involved in current, trendy enterprises, and in doing so, take on technology, a goddess cult and the beef industry! Mrs. Hark and Mrs. Millet are not your grandmother's basic, sweet, elderly bridge pals. These ladies are vital, appealing, activist ladies of a certain age who confront certain unpleasant realities and rise to the occasion in great and entertaining form, role models for us all!
