I purchased this mermaid fin for my daughter who is crazy about mermaids right now. I was very pleased with the quality of this product. My daughter has size 6 (women) feet, and the fin fit her just fine. There is a really nice adjustable strap made of neoprene or something similar that holds the fin to the back of the heels. This makes it much more comfortable than a hard plastic strap that most swim fins come with. The shipping from the vendor was very fast and there were email updates from both Amazon and Swim2000. If you have a daughter that is crazy about mermaids, I highly recommend this product.

My daughter and her friends love these uni-fins. You can't get them tight enough if you have bare feet. BUT - if the child wears swim shoes (the kind with the rubber sole) the strap will grip much better, and the rubber soles of the shoes keeps the fin from coming off. Here's the kind of swim shoe I mean: Easy USA - Girls Aqua Water Shoe, Black, Royal. My daughter has used her mermaid fin hundreds of times in the past two years, no problem.

I bought this for my 5 year old to bring on vacation with us. It was a big hit. She loves using it. It says it fits shoe sizes 1-7 but she is only a 12 1/2 and it works fine for her.

My granddaughter wanted to swim like a mermaid, so I bought this item and now she not only swims in it, but she sleeps with it. She'll lay on her bed with her fin out! So cute!

This product is fun and is a great idea but for the price it is made very cheaply and it broke where the strap is hooked to the product. I was able to fix it using waterproof glue but it is poorly made. So its fun just be very careful!

I purchased the fin for my 6 y/o daughter. She was SO excited about the fin. However, the size chart did not seem accurate, the fin is a bit big and the strap on the back does not hold the fin in place enough for her to really "swim" with it. She used it once and it now sits in the box.

These are JUST for FUN they are CUTE but hard to swim with and they have to come off when evermy daughter gets out of the water. All the other girls gather around when she wears them. Which makes her feel special I would buy them again. Also, swim shoes help to keep them on.

My daughter begged and begged for this item. I finally ordered after reading the good reviews. However, she is only 5 and has small feet. I torqued them down as far as they would go and I think they were still too big for her. She lost interest quickly. I put it away and we will try it again next year.

TO HARD TO USE FOR A CHILD< as an adult it was too hard, it floats, wont go underwater like a mermaid tail, and comes off every time you try to use it!

This mermaid fin made a Santa wish come true. The fin is attractive, fit adequately for our 3 and 5 year old daughters, worked well in the bathtub and will work well in a wading pool in the summer. Our little ones won't be able to use it in a real pool but a good swimmer could have a lot of fun with it. The girls were thrilled to wear their mermaid outfits in the house and in the tub. Good quality construction. Worth the money for a Santa wish.
