Compact & convenient to use when you don't have access to a computer with USB port for recharging the Finis Waterproof Swim Pool MP3 Music Player (SwiMP3 V2) (Latest Model). Perfect for taking on vacation. You just fold out the prongs, plug it into the wall, insert the SwimP3 plug, and leave it alone for 2-3 hours till fully charged. I was surprised & pleased at how small it is, about 2 inches by 2 inches square and only 1/2 inch thick. At first I was afraid it would get lost in my luggage, but I found that both charger and player easily fit into the plastic case that comes with the SwimP3. The only thing I wish it had was a little notch or tab where you could place the cap of the SwimP3 while it's charging - it's so easy to misplace that cap (but that's not the fault of the charger). It comes in a tiny bubble-wrap pouch that protects it when storing. I've been using this charger for over a year and have never had a problem with it. P.S. Purchased via Amazon's merchant PolarDiscount - fast shipping & great service.

The charger looks compact and handy. However, when I plug the swim p3 in, it begins to play and doesn't become charged. The swim p3 player, by the way, charges just fine when plugged into the laptop. It plays so loudly while charging with this portable charger, while not even on(!), that I can hear it in the next room. Don't know what's wrong with it?!

for those how don't know how it works... it sounds better under water with no headphones its awesome....
