i got this in the size 12 (USA), in the purple color, and i adore it! i am definately going to get this in black, too.

This dress does assume that your waist is significantly smaller than your hip or bust measurements; it really isn't designed to hide any flaws. Also, once i'd tried it on and decided it fit well enough to keep, i had it tailored, since the hip measurement was too big for me (not an unusual occurence for me).

As other reviewers have stated, this dress is, indeed, very form-fitting. This dress is designed to be extremely sexy without being TOO revealing.

Having said that, it is VERY sexy, and with the right heels and hairdo, it is just wonderfully cute 'n sassy! The skirt is pretty tight, but there is a slit in back to making walking easier, but still, you'll be mincing rather than striding along in this little number! (Actually, that's not an issue, because a dress like this very much demands that you were a pair of sexy heels with it, so you'll be taking somewhat smaller strides anyway).

You can wear this to the office, or to cocktails after work, or to a party. It's very versatile, and looks great.

Well, after reading some reviews, I was hesitant to buy my size (M), but went for it, and I'm happy I did. This dress fits just fine - it's suppose to hug the curves. I find that it DOES ride up a little bit, and the arms are a bit tight if I am reaching overhead. Overall, I am happy about this purchase and am going to buy it in a couple other colours.

I was unsure when buying this dress which size to get. I'm 34-25-37 and 5'1". I went for the small assuming I would send it back if it didn't fit right and hoping the bottom had a little stretch to it. Take the time to get your measurements and look at the chart! I received it about 4 days after I ordered it. It fits perfectly! I will be wearing it for a wedding (the other review saying she wore the red one for a wedding really helped). It isn't as low cut as the picture implies. The top looks more like the photo of the dress with the white top.
I ordered this dress in red in a size small. The top is very soft and shiny. The bottom half is fairly stretchy. The belt seemed kind of cheap and must be a one size fits all kind of thing because it was too long on me. The belt loops were too big and stuck out. I just cut them off and will wear it without a belt all together.
*All my measurements are for the size small only. I don't know what they would be for other sizes.*
From the top of the high waist (the top of the black) to the bottom of the skirt is 24 and 1/2 inches.
The slit in the back is 6 and 1/2 inches.
From the top of the collar to the bottom of the red is 13 and 1/2 inches.
From the middle of the collar to the end of the "sleeve" is 9 inches.
The sleeve opening is 7 inches.
There is an 11 inch zipper under the left armpit which makes getting in and out of the dress very easy.
As stated by others, this dress is very sexy, form fitting, and meant for a curvy lady. My order also came with a 15% off my next purchase from Hot from Hollywood. I am very satisfied with my purchase and plan on buying more in different colors.

Well I read the reviews and got a size bigger and I honestly wish I didn't. I got an XL and had to send it back. Large fits me like a glove, its supposed to be figure hugging. It has a great feel and fit and I modified the top red part to look more 40's like. I love it and I would suggest that if your thinking of getting it, you do.

I got the red and black one. This could be easily worn to a fetish ball or event or the company Christmas Party (which I plan to do this year!). Sexy and sophisticated, sassy and fun are how I would describe it. I am a size 10, 36C, and the large was a good fit! Great dress..highly recommended

The top of this dress is nice. However, The bottom and the belt is absolutely awful material.. It looks very, very cheap. If you need to go somewhere really nice. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase this dress. ;-)

I loved this dress it looks so great on my girlfriend and she loves to wear it. The only thing is the belt is cheap. We both loved this dress so much that I bought her a couple of other colors as well. Now she has the all red, the purple top with a black skirt as well as the red top with a black skirt. This dress is very form fitting so beware if you are a bigger size then this might not be the best for you.

I was surprised when this dress came in the mail, as I was expecting to alter it because I'm only 5'1" and around 135 pounds but when I tried it on, it fit extremely well. The only thing I changed was the belt that came with it because the plastic looking one is cheesy. I cut off the belt loops and opted for a wide ribbon belt in a deep purple I had bought years ago. The dress is classy enough to wear to a semi formal dinner and still just wear out for everyday wear, I dress it up with a rhinestone brooch pulling the white satin down (and attaching to the center of my bra) for a sexy cleavage peek and then keep it work friendly without the brooch. I've worn the dress with a loose tie and cropped suede jacket and received as many compliments rocking out the dress as I have in the office. Shipping was fast, I received a coupon for 15% off my next order and a free gift with this purchase. I will definitely buy from here again.

This is a beautiful dress! however i took my measurements before buying (36-27-36) i orderd a medium. it didnt fit! my mother had to pull the dress back off of me after trying it on! i couldnt even zip the side all the way! hopefully a large will be better!

I got this dress with the purple top and it is very true to size! My measurements are 36B-26-36, and a Medium fit me very snugly. I normally wear a Size 4 dress size. This is a fantastic garment, and it is suitable for parties and business settings alike, which makes for an unusual 'either-or', but it proved to be quite accommodating in both situations. The only thing I did not much care for was the detachable belt the dress came with. It kept slipping a bit, as there aren't enough loops under the bust of the dress to keep it perfectly straight across. Nothing a bit of tape can't fix. It looks fine, with or without!
