It definitely does the job, but it's not perfect. The hose is not flexible at all and the nozzle is very big for the AC lines as well. I had to improvise in order to get the job done, but I did. It would be unfair to say I did not manage to work with it. The cylinder is fine. Not something special and definitely not a professional tool. The idea behind this purchase is the fact that you won't know how well a shop will flush your AC system (if ever). This being said, I did the very time consuming job myself for peace of mind.

I had the "BLACK DEATH" with a motorcraft FS10 compressor. That requires absolute immaculate and precision in cleaning and flushing. This is the only way to do it because it uses high pressure air to propel the flush into the system (hose, condenser etc) at high speed, and forces the junk out. It also dries it so that solvent does not damage the oil or refrigerant. In my case there were millions of small particles of teflon, (aka black death) and had I not flushed it, I would nave had plugged up orifice tubes every week or so never ending. This will solve that if you are very careful and immaculate.

Good luck.

PS: I used acetone, 91% isopropyl alcohol, and AC flush. You dont want to use anything with water, or anything that dries oily or takes along time to dry. Use approved flush or as I mentioned, alcohol /acetone. Good luck.

I USED THIS AS A REFRIGERATOR WATER LINE CLEANER/FLUSH. Ok, I did not use this for its intended purpose, rather I filled it with vinegar and a few drops of blue food coloring. Wifey pumped the water out on the front side while I fed about 4-5 tankfulls from the other. Once the water came out blue on the wife's side we knew that our fridge was thoroughly filled with vinegar. Let it sit for a few hours or overnight then simply hook up your normal water line and replace your filter. Flush for about 3 days (kidding) or about 5-6 gallons until the water is perfectly clear. This allowed us to completely clean out the gunked up lines after we disconnected our fridge for about a week. The connection is as follows: Hook up air compressor to about 45 psi (equal to city water pressure) to the inlet. Fill tank with vinegar and food coloring (I chose blue because I didn't want to stain the lines with something weird like red). Pay attention as the tank will empty very quickly once your partner starts drawing water from the front side. I couldn't get a matching connection on the nozzle side, so I put a towel under it and pressed the rubber nozzle tip firmly into the intake. It did drip a little, but I was able to feed it into the fridge with relative ease. Be careful when releasing the pressure and opening the tank. Wear old clothes. Blue food coloring and vinegar will spray and mist around a bit. This was a great solution to our fridge's problem and one that I had to search for. I found this solution on some obscure forum, but I imagine there are many people like me who just want the gunk out of the lines without replacing all of the lines. Good luck. This works. And you'll be back to drinking ice cold crystal clear water in no time.

Very fast delivery, simple to use, very effective performance if you use Johnsen's 6544 flushing fluid. It gets that nasty black residue from a compressor failure out of your a/c system. Remember not to flush the new compressor, expansion valve or receiver dryer. These components should be replaced.

very easy and detailed instructions to use. Worked great at flushing our A/C system prior to installing all new hoses, drier/accumulator and compressor. Note: DO NOT TRY TO flush your compressor with this and always replace your drier/accumulator when you change your compressor (also replace your orifice tube). I was replacing the lines anyway due to corrosion from a bad battery with previous owner but if I were keeping the old set I would have just used this to flush them.

This is a really great tool to have around the shop. It worked great on my a/c system but I can see where you could use this to clean fuel lines, brake lines, transmission lines, etc. I would have liked another smaller rubber tip for smaller lines but it really works well overall.

Can had fine aluminum flakes inside it. It looked clean but when I rinsed it out and dumped it in a dark pan it looked like silver paint.Be sure you rinse out can before using or you will blow aluminum through out the system. I had to flush system twice because of this.

The flush kit worked well and it was a good value. It would be nice to have a gage to tell what pressure that you are flushing at, but it was no problem to connect it to regulated air and read the pressure at the regulator.
