The Soft Form Hernia Belt provides gentle relief from reducible inguinal hernias. Designed using the latest materials for the maximum level of support and comfort. Provides constant, comfortable and adjustable pressure to the hernia. Two uniquely shaped foam compression pads provide gradual pressure and support to the weakened muscles with focussed compression on the hernia. Either pad can be removed to treat a single hernia. The Soft Form Hernia Belt is manufactured using lightweight materials and no uncomfortable or hard to use buckles or snaps. The Soft Form Hernia Belt comes in a neutral beige color which can be worn inconspicuously under most clothing. For proper sizing, measure around widest part of waist. Small fits 30 - 35". Medium fits 35 - 41". Large fits 41 - 46". For hygienic reasons we cannot accept returns or exchanges of hernia briefs after the plastic bag has been opened.

hernia belt does the trick,

This hernia belt was perfect for resolving my inguinal hernia during the two weeks preceding my laparoscopic hernia operation. Without the belt I could not stand for very long, but with it I was able to hike five miles. My only regret was not specifying expedited shipping thereby requiring me to wait over a weekend for its delivery. Also, I highly recommend the laparoscopic surgery -- I walked one mile two days after the operation, and three miles on the fourth day. Total recovery period is two weeks versus the six weeks for the open incision surgery.

Misleading size and can't return, refuses replacement,

I understand no return of a hygiene item, BUT, they misrepresented the size. It is HIP size, not waist size. My 90 yo dad has a 33" waist size and a 35" hip size so it does not fit and can't work. Plus this company did not have the courtesy to reply to 2 pleasant e-mails and then declined the A-Z guarantee because the ad states no return; no problem if the ad stated the correct size to order. A refund or the right size would be nice since I bought it using their stated sizing.So, Why are they allowed to sell a misrepresented item on Amazon? Also how does a hernia belt stay in place if there is nothing to hold on to to prevent slipping; sitting and standing would cause it to slip down the hips and apply no pressure. I will update my review if they approve my appeal but this purchase was in error due to false advertising and I made no mistake, except trusting them to state an accurate ordering size, and the A-Z guarantee to protect me from false and misleading advertising on an Amazon page.

This belt is excellent for anyone who needs support for hernia. The belt works best with the removeable foam pads removed if the hernia is too big as the pads may irritate the area. Without them, excellent support is still provided allowing all daily chores in comfort. (Note: Wear underwear over the belt not vice-versa, no need to remove when going to the bathroom, provides constant support).
