1 watt not 2.5,

This review is from: LED GU10 MR16 FLOOD LIGHT BULB 21 LED 2 WATTS 50K DAYLIGHT WHITE LED LIGHT BULB REPLACES HALOGEN GU10 BULBS (Misc.)
The bulb that came is a 1 watt pure white unit that is too dimm for my application. This is advertized as a 2.5 watt bulb.
The light color is as stated - pure white (similar to daylight flourescent bulbs).

Bought a set of these (6) to replace the GU10 50w Halogen based bulbs that came with some 4" recessed lights from Lowe's®. As stated by others, these are NOT 2.5w, but only 1.5w -- Certainly NOT the same light output as a standard GU10 50w halogen bulb.... Not even close!
They do have a nice neutral cool white color, and use substantially less energy while producing virtually no heat, which is why I bought them in the first place. However, the light output isn't great, and these would be useless for any sort of "task" or "direct" lighting applications. I think they'd be ok for "ambient" or "accent" lighting though. I'll likely return them and replace them with Megaman GU10 based CFL bulbs. HTH!

As others have mentioned, this is a dim bulb. The other "quality of light" that is missing is the bounced or reflected light. The Halogen MR16 projects a beautiful beam, but also has spill light to all sides. This bulb simply glows in one direction with no spill light. This means you lose most of the quality of light you expect from track lighting, and for me that was as important as the dimness.
