1 watt not 2.5,

This review is from: LED GU10 MR16 FLOOD LIGHT BULB 21 LED 2 WATTS 30K WARM WHITE LED LIGHT BULB REPLACES HALOGEN GU10 BULBS (Misc.)
The bulb that came is a 1 watt warm white unit that is too dimm for my application. This is advertized as a 2.5 watt bulb.
The light color is as stated - warm white (similar to regular incandescent bulbs).

I should have read the other reviews but instead I ordered in good faith and sure enough ... The actually shipped product are 1.5W LED bulbs instead of the advertised 2.5W bulbs. The difference is that the 2.5W would have been enough for room lighting, while the 1.5W really only suffice as accent lighting. Further, there are lower offers for 1.5W bulbs (typically $9 or $10, Conservationmart currently offers the exact same model for $6.90), which makes these WAY overpriced. That's where false advertisement comes in as one believes to have bought a brighter bulb for more money than similar listings of the actually sold item.
Listing: LED GU10 MR16 FLOOD LIGHT BULB 2.5 WATTS 30K WARM WHITE LED vs. Product: NV-SDIW21BBQ GU10 AC110V Warm White 1.5W (spot light) REAL Specs: - Manufacturer: Nu Vue Lighting - Model #: NV-SDIW21BBQ - Color: Warm White - Wattage: 1.5W - Hours: 50000 (MTBF) - Base: GU10/Turn & Lock - Voltage (V): 110-130 - Lumens (LM): 30 (equivalent to 10W incandescent bulb) - CCT (K): 2700 Aside from the misleading listing, it's a pleasant white color (crisper than incandescent, and not as blueish as some advertised "natural" whites). The spot if very defined (approx. 30 some degree full cone). Despite the collection of individual LEDs, the spot is uniform and overall the quality of light is very good. They actually work with dimmer switches, but the circuitry in the bulb regulates voltage to maintain a consistent brightness over much of the dimmer range. May not work if you really want to adjust brightness, but otherwise they still light up just fine with my dimmer. Overall, these lights are technically not bad even if not as bright, but given the high price and the false advertisement I certainly feel cheated.

I have been searching for good warm white LED lights for months and finally found this good one.
If you are looking for warm white LED, I'd strongly recommend this one. Only cons I see so far is, while the description on this page and the invoice says 2.5W, the package box says 1.5W. I'm not sure which to believe. It may not as bright as you may need but it's just 1.5W (or 2.5W). You can add more as much as the space allows. Way better than halogen ones!

Not Bright Enough - Better LEDs are Available,

I bought one of these just to try it to replace a 50w Halogen. The color is nice, but it's just not bright enough. Noticeably dimmer even than a 30w and it's more directional. I have since bought more than a half-dozen of GU10 3x1 Watt LED Spot Light Bulb = 20W, warm white, 1226ww and I am very happy with them.

We are using eight of these bulbs on an overhead track in our parents' kitchen, with each bulb aimed at its own portion of the countertop. Combined, the eight bulbs do provide enough light for the kitchen, though ideally it would be nice to have a little more light, and for the light to be a tad warmer. LED technology has come a long way, but most reasonably-priced LED light bulbs are still not as bright as we would prefer.
Still, for $13 per bulb, and a power consumption of about 2 watts, these bulbs are a good value relative to other LED bulbs on the market. Keep in mind that a GU-10 compact fluorescent bulb is likely to be around $9, of course for more brightness and more power consumption. Especially in a high use area like the kitchen, these LED bulbs will pay for themselves due to their much lower power consumption, and we do find the quality of the light to be quite acceptable, even if not perfectly ideal.

I bought 8 of these led bulbs to replace 8 regular 50 watts bulb. It worked great. But after 6 months, randomly they will over heat. They will just go off when in use. After turning off the lights and turning them off later on, they would work. Eventually, they will stop working. Took one of them apart and it smells burnt inside. Out of the orig 8, 3 are still working. Would definitely not recommend this.
