I bought two of these at once -- one for my teen daughter and one for myself. With the exception of the glossy paper it is printed on, it looks identical to the Marauder's Map in the Prisoner of Azkaban movie (even with the cool vertical fold-out center section). It does have the red Fly logo placed discreetly on the lower front of the map...it looks like a wax candle seal, and doesn't look too out-of-place. And there are places in between a few folds of the map that have areas for the game playing aspect of this map. And the whole back of the map has games and instructions printed on it. We bought it just to have a realistic Marauder's Map..and we are 100% happy. (We don't have the FLY computer pen to play the game, so we can't comment on that aspect of the item). Both my daughter and I just love it as a wonderful momento from the movie and book... and we both pull it out and look at it often... it's very realistic!

This map is confusingly folded, and mostly just lays out the numerous bathrooms of the castle. I am not kidding! There are three different bathrooms labeled (boys/girls/prefects), however, only ONE classroom (defense against the dark arts). Geez, if I need to pee I am in luck!
Also, the many ridiculous folds allow for NO CONTINUITY at all within the map, and there is much more made up "magical" language than real english written on the map to understand anything written on it. My 9 year old avid Harry Potter fan, as well as myself, are very dissappointed. Save your money and draw one yourself.

First off let me say I am happy with this map especially for the general price range. I am a serious collector of movie memorabelia and have quite an extensive collection from many movies.
The first thing I noticed is the map is not really movie accurate at all. It's a little smaller in scale and folds out not quite far enough with not as many hidden folds as the original.
BUT!...... it's actually quite nice anyway. It can be framed so long as the last folds on either end are left folded due to the extra printed game symbols which kind of ruin the movie accuracy integrity and it's printed on nice glossy paper. For a REAL movie accurate copy, "The Noble Collection" offers a far more accurate copy on parchment with all the extra folds and is actually a good 20 inches wider and 25% taller. Of course expect to pay more for that one.
For the average collector, this fly game map is perfect and still looks great.

i love the item very much. i am still sooking for the computer. it is to much on amazon.
