We bought our first pur filter a few years ago. The crappy plastic attachment meant it would become unattached and spray water everywhere. We got another one a year later and that one started spraying water out of the filter life viewing portal. Then we got this design about six months ago and it's started running water out of the filter even when it's not switched to the filter. We're going with Brita next time.
