I am a Diabetic and had no idea that I would get leave for my chronic condition. Thanks to this handbook, which explains everything clearly, how to utilize this law. My company has for years violated peoples rights pertaining to FMLA. Now I can confront the company and the union on how to proceed on leave matters. Thanks To Mr. Schwartz for writing this book and Pres. Clinton (democrat controlled Congress) for passing this law!

Finally, a book written with clarity regarding the FMLA law and Union represented companies. I highly recommend this book.

This book has helped me in many situations, dealing with the company I work for, and as a Union Steward, I have been able to help with attendance and leaves of absence issues.
