Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover,
By Charlotte Zumwinkle (Atlanta, GA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: GAL Folex Carp Remover (Kitchen)
Since Home Depot Expo gave me a bottle of Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover when they installed my new carpet, I've been successfully using the product and I lend it to my neighbors to use on their carpet spots too. Between me and my neighbors, I have seen it work quickly to completely remove all spots including food stains, blood, and cat urine and vomit. My favorite part is that it is odorless. I'm about to run out of my first Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover 32-Oz.bottle and I love the product so much that I'm going to invest in a gallon of it!

This is a fantastic product that does what it states. I use it on the "dog's" entry area as well as all the high traffic areas. Great for cleaning spots on any fabric.

My Mom introduced me to this product a few years ago, and since then I'm a loyal user.
I have several small dogs, and they'res always a mess to clean, and I make a few of my own. No matter what the stain, pet, or people, or food, Folex takes it out. Folex does not bleach the carpet, or furniture, and is non toxic which is important to me.

The very best carpet cleaner available, works every time,
This review is from: GAL Folex Carp Remover (Kitchen)
This is the large size of the Folex carpet cleaner. I love Folex because it works every time and takes care of the worst spots. Just used it this morning on pink smoothie that landed on very light carpet. Can't tell now it was ever there! I hope they never discontinue this cleaner. If you have a really, really tough stain, try cleaning it with Folex, then wait for it to dry and try again the next day and again the next day after that if needed. On some really bad stains, that's what you have to do in order to get it out. But 99% of the time, it works on the first try. I would never buy any other carpet cleaner again. Hope they never discontinue it!

This product is amazing. I buy it by the gallon. Absolutely no scent, no color, nothing caustic about it, and it still removes blood, dirt and dog stains instantly with no rings or residue. Worked great poured full strength on my oriental rug and wool carpet spots. Far superior product than that terrible Oxyclean!

Great Stuff!,

We've had a bottle of this in our cupboard for a year and for some reason I never tried it. Today, I used it to shampoo several rugs in an area used by two very big and dirty dogs. I love this stuff! I am very allergic to most cleaning agents and can't deal with the smells of most cleaners. I've got an epileptic Husky who can't stand any strong smelling cleaners either. Folex has no odor and it cleaned my carpets so that they now look like new. I used a Bissell Green Spot Remover/Shampooer and used Folex in place of the carpet cleaner that came with the unit. The rugs I cleaned were heavily soiled and one area had a small spot of urine. I thought I'd have to replace the rug tile in that area but it came clean and smells great. I would heartily recommend this product. And, I love that it is made in America.

America's greatest cleaning secret,

Whoa. This is an amazing product. No hype here -- it was given away at Home Depot and has been used successfully to clean stains of all sorts, not just on carpets, but clothing as well. Works instantly. What I love most about it is that it seems to be a modest family-owned product for 35 years, and as much hyperbole as I hear from the conglomerates, this is the real deal. Buy with confidence.

Folex hasn't gotten up one stain yet!,

So I bought this thinking maybe it would outperform my usual grocery store selections for stain lifters. I had an 8 year old carpet starting to really show it's age with pet stains, dirt and who knows what else. Tried it in my steam cleaner. No good. Took up some dirt but no stains. Tried it again. Nothing; stains still there. And again. Again it didn't work. It had to be my carpet right? Or the padding? I was thinking of buying an old stand by stain lifter but I hated to waste a gallon of cleaner so I held on to it. Then I got new carpet and padding. I figured my old carpet was just to far gone for it to work. Before you know it, someone threw up on my new carpet, so I got out the Folex once again and once again you could still see the stain! Finally I decided to go over the stain with OxyMagic and the stain was gone. Don't be fooled by their "money back guarantee". No one is going to pay to ship their gallon of Folex back to Oregon to get their money back. I consider it a lesson learned. There is a reason Folex isn't a household name.
