These made my car run like new. It had been sputtering on hills and occassionally the motor shutting off on the highway. A mechanic told me $400 per coil. I bought these and easily had them on in an hour.

I drive a 99 Grand Marquis that just turned 100K in miles, and I had the normal misfire due to the manifold leak of coolant into the spark plug cylinder, the check engine light turned on (and would flash at times), and the engine would run rough. Of course, I go down to Autozone to have them pull the codes and turns out that cylinders 2 & 3 were the culprit. I did try to change all 8 spark plugs first to see if that would solve the problem. Go to Autozone to ask that they turn the check engine light off (which they reluctantly did once I explained to them that I'm trying to service the car and not get around the state smog check). I drive out of the parking lot, and the light comes back on. Go back, same cylinders. So, now it's time to change the ignition coils. I almost had a heart attack at the store when they said $50+ each and that they suggest changing all of them! (Of course they suggest changing all of them!)

So, I come home, check on Amazon and find this deal for $70.00, which include the dielectric grease. SCORE!!! I read the other reviews and when I found the guys with the Lincoln Towncars and the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis that had no problems, I pulled the trigger. (Do be careful, there are a couple of other vendors who sell these but they charged for shipping and didn't include the grease.)

Yes, I put in for standard delivery of 3-5 days. But Free Shipping Auto Parts still sent them Priority Mail on Monday from the East Coast. I got the package today on the West Coast for a 2 day turn around. Super, super, super shipping! I open the box, but I didn't find any of the grease. All 8 of the coils, but no grease. I immediately e-mail them and I just asked for a partial refund so I can just run down to the local auto parts store and get the grease.

My van was running terrible before, stuttering and using too much fuel. I couldn't diagnose which coil was failing, so I had to replace them all. I nearly choked when I found out how much the OEM units were. WHOA! These were far more affordable, and worked like a champ. First drive and it was like a new van. No more stuttering. It was so bad that I was worried I was having transmission problems. Once I installed these, all the problems were cured.

My Crown Vic was misfiring bad. I ordered these coils and put them in, the car runs great now. They arrived fast and were packaged very good. I would recommend these to anybody who is having an issue with their car misfiring, not to mention the price simply can't be beat!

These were really affordable. Went in easy, and they worked. I wasn't sure if this was the problem so it was a $63.00 experiment.
