Fox News Reporting investigated the $10 billion dollar-a-year textbook industry and how the drive to be politically correct might be taking over American schools. From kindergarten through college, we found staggering errors and omissions which may be pushing agendas, hidden and otherwise.
Textbook publishers censor images or words deemed controversial in what some allege is a highly questionable process.
And in Fairfax County Virginia, questions remain about what textbooks are used in the private Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA).
The ISA is wholly owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and teaches from textbooks, which according to a report by a Saudi scholar, continue to “propagate an ideology of hate to the unbeliever.” Fox News obtained some of the ISA’s current 2008-2009 textbooks which were supposed to be purged of inflammatory language. We found proof otherwise.
In California’s Alameda County, we were there as parents engaged in heated debate over a mandatory curriculum designed to teach students from grades K-5 about different types of families, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender lifestyles. The 2nd grade reading curriculum now requires a book about gay penguins.

The rise in home schooled children show that parents have been waking up to the indoctrination found in our children's textbooks. Pathetic, incorrect rewritings of our history (Excellent book THE POLITICALLY INCORRECT GUIDE TO THE FOUNDING FATHERS by Brian McClanahan, PHD), blatant lies peddled as truth (recent example: Al Gore's movie) and a complete lack of regard for the Christian beliefs that helped shape this Nation. If you have children on their way to college as I do now there are two books I HIGHLY recommend. The first is "CHOOSING THE RIGHT COLLEGE" the whole truth about America's top schools, an EXCELLENT ISI Guide produced by the intercollegiate studies institute. The other book is an eye opener by David Horowitz called, ONE PARTY CLASSROOM.

Fox is great! However, I can see the new trend: Pay for your "cable news" TWICE! $2 for local daily $8 for national daily, and
just $19.99 for documentary style news programs...YIKES!
