I've been gardening for over fifty years and when old age strikes you have to change the way you do things. I only have one quarter of an acre to grow stuff but my crop of tomatoes, melons and squash are huge and harvesting and carrying them to the house is more than I can manage with a wheelbarrow. Enter this little green 4 wheeled marvel from China at an unbelievable price and everything gets easy again. It has clever front wheel steering and it turns easily into the narrowest rows. I probably haven't found all the tasks around my house yet that this little vehicle will make easier. The only precaution is that it takes some assembly and if you are not handy with a screwdriver and wrenches you better find someone who is. If you are handy, everything is well thought out and logical to assemble and most important all the parts are there and easy to identify.

Wow! Nice yard cart. Sturdy for the money. Good value. Better than expected, actually. The sides are easy to fold up and down, but turn radius is increased with lowers rails (no biggie). A nice home version of the heavy duty ones at the garden centers. Easy to put together, logical. Took me about 20-30 minutes. Bolts, washers, etc come attached to a paper card labeled by step number in the manual- nice touch! The tires do smell per other reviews, but it dissipates after a week or so.

Would certainly recommend for light to medium duty yard work.

Years ago I purchased a similar utility wagon from our local hardware store. After about fifteen years of continuous use, it was finally time to retire it. With that brand no longer on the market I opted to purchase this Tricam product. My neighbor purchased one from Amazon two years ago and it seems to be holding up well. The wagon arrived at my doorstep in its original tattered box. Actual parts of the wagon were poking out on all sides. The only thing holding the box together was massive amounts of shipping tape wrapped continuously around the box. Speaking from long term experience on this issue, its a no brainer that when it comes to properly packaging and shipping large merchandise its still hit and miss with Amazon.

Moving on. After careful inventory of parts I was shocked to find that everything was accounted for. The instructions are pretty much cut and dry. It took me about twenty minutes to put the wagon together. I found two areas under the mesh bed that were bare and not properly spray painted. Also two of the tires were low on air. Right off the bat, I found that this wagon is much lighter then my previously owned model. The mesh bed measures about 18" by 34". Fully assembled it weighs in at about 44lbs.

The fold down fences are give and take. They are somewhat misaligned. Unlike older designs of a similar wagon they are no longer held in place by bolts. On this model cotter pins have replaced the bolts. I know those will be the first thing that goes. Even though the padded handle is not adjustable, its still a nice touch. Depending on use, replacement shouldn't be for awhile. The 10" tires are pneumatic and probably the best part of the wagon. The manufacturer boasts a 400lb capacity for this product. I find that hard to believe....

What I do know is that this utility wagon is great on driveways and sidewalks. It does not do well on unpaved surfaces. On several occasions carrying bags of potting soil it has flipped over. It didn't take me long to realize moving small loads of concrete edging borders is out of the question. Thankfully, I still have my hand truck for that. This is definitely not the same wagon that my neighbor purchased from Amazon two years ago. Obviously corners were cut while increasing the price tag. In the yard, overall performance is average. The cart (parts) arrived with one missing part and one defective part (welded incorrectly) that wouldn't fit the intended area.
Getting these two replacement parts was the nightmare. I was eventually able to produce the needed information to the company --
order number,etc. (which they said they could not get from the information Amazon gave them about my order!)and then I emailed it to
the company. The burden of proof regarding getting all information together was my responsibility, even though I was the one who was
majorly inconvenienced by being sent inferior merchandise. They let me know I should receive the parts in 5-10 business days. Had to hire someone (again!) to try to complete the assembly job since the defective and missing parts prevented this from being completed the first try. What a surprise! The defective "replacement" part didn't fit either -- it was nearly an inch wider than the part to be replaced! This has definitely been a very expensive learning experience for me. My advice to anyone thinking of ordering this cart -- don't. Go to Lowe's, spend about $20 more, and get an already-assembled much more sturdy cart, rather than this rather flimsy one. I seriously doubt if this cart would hold 400 pounds or even half that amount.

Although this cart is solidly constructed, the design flaws render it useless. Basically the axles are so short that, on anything other than a flat asphalt surface, the cart tips over spilling all of its contents. Further, the pull-handle is so short that anyone over 4 foot tall cannot pull the cart without the front wheels coming off the ground...again, upsetting the balance and typically dumping the contents. Anyways, good quality but terrible design - I guess I'll break out the tools and the welder and try to modify it into something useful. Would not recommend.
