This book is both magnificent and daunting, at the same time. The images are beautiful in their intensity. I wanted to take all the children home to my warm house and make them laugh. Too bad we aren't investing in their futures, instead of supporting a ( 2 ) war and giving out huge bail-out dollars for huge bonuses to the likes of Goldman Sachs, etc. There is definately something morally wrong, when you look at this magnificent book and consider where our US dollars are going. Kudos to Howard for this absolutely beautiful book. Everyone should have to look at these incredible pictures----Thank you, Mr Buffett. We should all be making the "human condtion" better, especially when we are spending so much money on inconsequencial follies. I thank you again for this book

This is a great book. Just buy it & keep it. Even if you don't like reading too much, the pictures tell the story.

The book is beautiful--one that I will take the time to study, read and enjoy, over and over. It's a BIG, heavy book--not one you will carry around, but great to display on the coffee table. It's a book you will enjoy picking up time and time again, and the photography is great and journalistic in itself! The images tell a story, of the frazile human condition worldwide.
