Book Description

Brad Ashton fled three years ago to avoid a conviction for murder. Now he's back. And his hope for freedom appears to be within reach.

Unfortunately there are those who have no interest in his legal status; they only want him dead or on the run once more.

But for Brad, running is no longer an option. It's a table stakes game in which the risks are high. But he puts everything he has, including his life, on the table, then settles in, determined to win every hand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bullets and blood - good plot February 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Free To Die . . . . Bob McElwain

Tom Fairchild AKA Brad Aston is wanted in L.A. for a murder he did not commit.
This novel relates the story of how he clears his name. It contains a fair amount of violence. But, for the most part, the violence is necessary for the plot.
The book is well written, the character development is good and the story line is intriguing and held my interest from start to finish.
If you are in the mood for a mystery that is dotted with bullets and blood, you will enjoy this novel.
Keeping in mind the type of tale it is, I rated it 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect title... February 29, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
As a reader of thrillers, I found Free To Die very enoyable. Plenty of plot twists but not too many to confuse the reader. It was also well-written/edited which is something that I - personally - take into account when leaving a review. I have no idea how long this author has been writing but it doesn't really matter as he did a fine job with this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Story! March 9, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I've read many of the free Kindle books and this is one of my favorites. The characters are well developed, the story moves well, and the plot is somewhat believable. The story is well written and is fun to read--so I'm impressed with the overall content!
