This writer worked as a Vancouver prostitute while she shaped her career as a professional writer. A journey through the eyes of a young girl with so many dreams. Evelyn Lau's writing resembles an artist picking the perfect colors for a painting. Beautifully written, poetic and surreal and yet the subject matter is gruesome, humiliating and real.
