I stumbled upon this item and it is the best. I have used an insulin pump for close to 10 years and have always struggled with keeping it cool in the summer especially at the beach. This wallet works great. It is easy to prepare and stays cool for as long as they say. Try it!!!

I have been a diabetic for two years and most of that time I was in a hot climate. After having my insulin go bad a few times do to heat exposure, I was always looking for ways to keep my supplies cool when I was outside. Since I started using the Frio things are so much easier! No more bulky ice packs or asking venders for a cup of ice. I like that it is easy to use, it is activated by water, and you can use it over and over. I am glad I found a product that really works!

This is a excellent item. We went on a fishing trip and it kept my daughter's insullin pump and her insulin cold all day. I'm glad I bought this and will probably purchase other Frio products.

The Frio Pump Wallet is the perfect product for keeping my pump cool. I have been diabetic for 37 years and have been using an insulin pump for 30 years. The heat during summer months has been an ongoing problem for me for more than 27 years. The heat became a critical problem about three years ago. I worked in a warehouse in Texas for 9 years and most of the time was seated close to a overhead air conditioning vent. However, about three years ago I was relocated to an area where the air conditioning had little effect and the summer months were miserable. My blood sugars would sky rocket and I was having difficulty keeping it down. I searched and searched for a resolution to my problem. My doctor changed my insulin to one that was not as heat sensative, but this did not solve the problem. Then one night I came across an article telling about the Frio Pump Wallet and how it had been tested in the field, used during climbs up mountains, camping, jogging, and many other outdoor activities. So, I went to the internet and searched for Frio and located their website. Thank God for that article! I have used my Frio Pump Wallet for the last three years. So, much so that I am now in need of a replacement sleeve, because I have worn mine out. Also, since we have relocated to Florida I feel that I may use it more often. All I can say is that using the Frio Pump Wallet has proven to be the remedy to my problem.

Awesome product. No more cooked insulin in my pump on hot days in the sun. It really does stay cold for several days. Be careful not to remove it from water too soon as it will not be as effective.

Keeps insulin oool in the heat, otherwise insulin becomes inactive. Excellent product and a necessity for diabetics in the summer heat.

We ordered the Frio because we felt the insulin in our 4 year olds pump was getting too hot in the summer heat. She has to wear her pump in a pouch on her back because she is so young and the clips just don't work for her. When we got the Frio in, we found that it was too big to fit into the pump pouch that we had and the pouch that came with it was too big to stick on her :(. So, for us, it wasn't a good fit, but for an older child or an adult, it would be a great purchase. We actually used it to keep her bottle of insulin cool while we were on vacation staying in a hotel room, and it worked perfectly.

The pouch didn't keep the insulin cool. Not even overnight!! I read & followed all theFRIO Insulin Cooling Pump Wallet - Purple - 1130PUMP1130PUMPBK directions... And all I had was a very expensive vial of Meds to go bad. The pouch is cute... But that's all!

I was afraid that my jeans would get wet from the Frio Cooling Wallet when I would attach it to my belt, but no. I did find that the inner (black) protection sachet to keep the pump dry didn't keep it dry, but no damage to the pump so far. Pump and insulin stayed cool during the hot day that I used it.

This was awesome for keeping the insulin in my pump cool while I was at the beach last week. I wish I would have known about these sooner. I will use it everytime I'm laying out at the pool now...relieved that my insulin is no longer getting over heated outside!!
