I have been ordering this product from the FRS website for a few months now, (FRS.com) and it does work! you can find all kinds of information from their site, but order from amazon, it cost less.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good product BUT...
I will share my experience with you. Whenever I take FRS and I am fully rested with a full night's sleep, I feel a boost in energy HOWEVER if I do not have a full night's sleep (say six instead of 8 hours), it doesn't do me any good whatsoever! This is disappointing because this is when I can REALLY use some extra energy, when I'm depleted.

Has anyone felt...

I have been ordering this product from the FRS website for a few months now, (FRS.com) and it does work! you can find all kinds of information from their site, but order from amazon, it cost less.
I do believe that this has helped me maintain my weight loss as it certainly does boost my metablolism. I feel such a difference when I use it on a regular basis. I use the orange concentrate, mix with club soda, or diet ginger ale and it is so refreshing.
I don't care much for the chews, they have a somewhat bitter flavor to them, and they are higher in calories if you are counting.
I can't endorse this product enough, and I am not getting paid for it!
Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stuff but..., March 28, 2008
I was doubtful about this product but I must say it delivers and is delicious. I get the low cal orange concentrate and it tastes so much better than real orange juice and much better for you. I got my husband on it who is a couch potato and overweight and the man actually began to get off his one spot and DO something around this place. (Now losing weight!) For that alone I have begun to go to my knees before the bottle each morning and give high praise. That being said, I feel the price is much too high, goes too fast when 2 people are using it, and it's definitely hard to get. To buy it here you have to order two weeks before you need it because the shipping is so slow they must have to produce it, bottle it then ship out by mule. I've tried to find it thru web search but the only other place to get it is thru the FRS website and ONLY if you sign up for auto ship, which I am always hesitant to do but I guess I have no choice if I want it in a timely manner. In short, if you're patient, you invested in gold when it was $100 an ounce, this is definitely the product of choice. Now I'm off to sell more blood so I can reorder.

Has anyone felt the same way? Comments welcome.

Side note: not everyone wants to lose weight, I happen to be skinny and I don't need to lose even more! FRS should only include the catechins as an option. This is a very secondary issue.

Last but not least, I find it a little strange that every single review gives this product five stars. What happened to "individual results may vary"?

1.0 out of 5 stars Caution if a statin user, February 27, 2009
This review is from: FRS Healthy Energy Liquid Concentrate, Low Cal Orange, 32-Ounce Bottle (Health and Beauty)
Anyone on a statin drug should not use products with Quercetin as it's a potent inhibtor of CYP3A4, the enzyme that breaks down most drugs in the body (the same reason why you shouldn't eat or drink grapefruit if you use statins). Unfortunately the FRS website doesn't post this anywhere and it's only after you order and receive your order confirmation that they show a note "you can read more about Quercetin at QuercetinFacts.com" which is where this information is posted. Not cool FRS.

I felt no energy difference, and I wasn't even looking for an espresso-type pick me up or anything. I gave it 2 stars because it is delicious, and has healthy ingredients.

3.0 out of 5 stars BUY FROM AMAZON, February 14, 2009
This review is from: FRS Healthy Energy Liquid Concentrate, Low Cal Orange, 32-Ounce Bottle (Health and Beauty)
I wish I would have ordered from Amazon instead of the FRS companys auto mailing. I loved the way the product affected my energy but after a week my arthritis flared up from the immunity increase. Arthritis is a auto immune disease so when you boost your immunity it fights against you. When my next auto mailing came in, I sent it back. When I saw no credit on my card, I called them. Well they had a certain system of sending back what you can't use. I got credit for what I had left but no credit for the product I sent back. I think it was a $60 package. I was out $60 and they didn't care.

4.0 out of 5 stars Taste great, February 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It taste great and I do feel a little more energized. Not much sugar and I do take it daily. The low cal orange flavor is almost undrinkable but this mango peach is very pleasant and taste like real fruit.

Some of the printed stuff on the label:
Consume within 1 month of opening
16 servings per container
12% Fruit juice
Refrigerate after opening
35mg of caffeine equivalent to 1/3 cup of coffee

4.0 out of 5 stars Other FRS have better flavors, but still one heck of an energy drink!!!, March 3, 2009
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've been trying out the FRS line for about a month now, and have nothing but great things to say about their line of crack. I mean, energy drinks. For a product that doesn't have much caffeine in it, this thing energizes me like... it's indescribable. Every so often it's a bit too much: almost exactly 30 minutes after I take it, I get REALLY energized and have to come down a bit. But there's no crash... it lasts for hours.

Anyway, I've tried the ready-to-drink cans, which are expensive. I've tried the powders, which don't mix well. Finally, I tried the liquid concetrates, which are cheaper and mix perfectly. If you're going to use this product, I think the concentrate is definitely the way to go.

I've tried the various different flavors, and - because I am concerned about calories - stick to the low cal flavors. Of these, I think the low cal orange is the best: it takes like OJ. This... it tastes okay. But it's really effective.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Stuff Works!, May 21, 2008
This review is from: FRS Healthy Energy Liquid Concentrate, Low Cal Orange, 32-Ounce Bottle (Health and Beauty)
I am a health professional and cancer survivor and have tried many products for low energy, and this is the first time Ive had measurable results. It also helps me maintain a healthy weight, and is now all I use on bike rides for an energy boost! Great product backed by both anecdotal and clinical evidence.

1.0 out of 5 stars FRS is a marketing company, May 1, 2009
By
SBYogaman (Santa Barbara CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: FRS Healthy Energy Liquid Concentrate, Low Cal Orange, 32-Ounce Bottle (Health and Beauty)
Save your money and get quercetin - the active ingredient in FRS - directly and much more cheaply via capsules from a reputable supplement provider. Despite what the company says the science is not clear that quercetin does anything anyway (see below). The rest is expensive sugar water, caffeine (sorry, I mean "metabolic enhancer") and marketing. I don't think I've ever seen a supplement more heavily advertised than FRS and it's obvious who pays for this outlay.

Update Jan 2010. This is from the December issue of the respected Berkeley Wellness Newsletter:

The dietary supplement quercetin does not enhance
athletic performance, boost energy, or reduce fatigue,
despite the marketing claims. This was seen in a recent
well-designed study from the University of Georgia, in which
30 young men did cycling tests before and after taking quercetin
or a placebo for up to 16 days. The results were similar
in the two groups. Quercetin is an antioxidant found in many
fruits and vegetables; it is the main ingredient in FRS, a widely
advertised energy drink promoted by Lance Armstrong.
