I have owned the Born Hemlock (nice looking boot, not waterproof) which looks quite similar, and the Blundstone 510's (which are durable and waterproof but not so great looking). I was hoping for a similar boot with a mix of quality and looks. The deal on amazon beats a lot of other places where the boot was going for $200+, so can't complain. Leather is less supple then Born, despite worn appearance. Also, fit was a bit tight at the instep. I got a 1/2 size smaller due to other reviews, and length was ok, but instep is much tighter fit than the other boots mentioned. Hope it stretches a little, and allows for a more comfortable fit... been about a week, sole shows some wear. Looks good with jeans, rugged, clunkier heel then the other boots mentioned. I had a pair of Frye loggers, which I had thought were of excellent quality in the past, but these are not quite at that level (construction, durability, leather), and surprisingly also made in Mexico, not in the USA. 4/5 stars. no problem with Amazon transaction or shipping.

My husband said these boots were very comfortable however "distressed" is an understatement. These boots looked like they had been worked in by a construction worker for years and had white dust all over them. They were very cool boots, but not very versatile. Having said that they were a great price and if you are looking for a very casual jeans and t-shirts only kind of boot these are for you!

This pair of chelsea type boots are wonderful. They come a little more scuffed than they appear both on the Frye website and on Amazon's. Also, Frye sizes seem to run big. I wear from 11-12 shoes depending on the maker but these 10.5 fit great. The boots are really comfortable, great walking shoes.

These are really nice boots. I got them for my husband for his birthday. Other reviews online said that they ran really big, so I ordered a half size down. But those were too small! So we returned them and got his normal size (9.5). The only slight issue is that one of the shoes is noticeably bigger than the other, but it doesn't seem to be too big of a problem. Nice!!!
