These are extremely comfortable, and I've received many compliments whenever I go out in them. More than anything, they're very well-made, and hold up well to wear-and-tear; a bit of saddle-soap cleans away all dirt and scuffing, leaving them looking close to new. They run a bit big, so consider getting a half-size smaller than you normally might.

I saw/tried on a pair of Frye harness boots at a local store in black but really wanted a pair of brown. After researching some I found that Frye manufactures a number of different "browns"; some of which were more "rugged" than what I wanted. What I really wanted was a finish that could be polished and a boot that I could wear with jeans or nicer pants and use on my motorcycle. I ordered these based on the picture and was prepared to be disappointed when they came in. Well; I received them and they are beautiful; so nice in fact that I'm not sure I can wear them on the bike because I don't want them to get ruined. The color is this deep brown and the leather is just spectacular.

The fit on these boots is perfect as well; the leather is so soft but not thin.

The leather and workmanship quality are outstanding, and the fit was perfect. They did not need to be broken in, and are extremely comfortable.
