i purchased this boot in dark brown leather. the first time i tried to get them on, it was a struggle of brute strength. once on, however, the soft leather and comfortable fit made them seem as though i had worn them many, many times. the boot works with everything from 501's to rock 'n republic! they're stylish yet comfortable. i couldn't be more pleased. my only problem is i wanna wear every day. maybe it's time for a 2nd pair?

I really like these boots, wear them to work almost every day. I've gotten lots of compliments on them. The leather is excellent, soft but thick enough (just barely) to hold its shape well.

Most Important: Buy a one size smaller than you normally do! These boots run huge. But one size down made it fit perfect. (for me a 11 to a 10). I really like the boots they aren't large or obnoxious. But they seem to cheaply made for the $300 price range. The sole of the boot came unglued the first day of use. But easy to take care of and worth the $100 sale price.
