Great pair of boots that fit true. I own another pair of Frye boots and they tend to be very durable and very comfortable. They break in well too.

So, these boots are awesome! 4 stars because they are a bit snug in toe area, but nothing time can't fix. I'm a girl who loves to rock some boots with skirts and these earned their place on my feet. I got the dark brown and for the price, wow! Boys, you'll look mighty fine in them too~ I love them :)

These would have been my 4th pair of frye boots. I have Harness 8r, Rand Engineer(I've seen these called Brando Engineer) and Rogan engineer. The quality of these boots are on par with other Frye products I have. However, these boots were EXTREMELY tight both around the foot and above the ankle. So tight that movement was restricted and therefore I will be returning these. The Rogan Engineer style is my fave.
Like all other frye boots i've tried, they tend to be sized a half size too big, so get a nine if your normal size is 9.5.

Oldest shoe company in the U.S., shoes made in Mexico.,

I have no complaints whatsoever with the look or construction of this fine boot, nor do I believe that shoes constructed in Mexico are by virtue of that fact inferior. What galls me a little is the lack of honesty in advertising. If manufacturing of your product has been outsourced to a different country it's quite disingenuous to be saying things such as
"The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operating shoe company in the United States." Update: Fell apart after a year. Bogus. |
