True to FRYE quality, these pumps are extremely well-made and the leather is soft and supple. The "tongue" part doesn't flare out as much as it looks in the picture but that's just fine with me. I normally wear a 8.5/9 and bought the 9 and it fits beautifully.

I love these shoes. I bought them in black and then I came back a few days later and bought them in gray. They look great with jeans and they are surprisingly comfortable.

I didn't like these in person. They looked much more unattractive than in the picture. The "slate" color looks dirty in person, it has many black patches on them which don't make them look rugged--just dirty. Also the heel was pretty high. To be honest, when I saw them in person, I didn't like anything about them.
