I have lusted over this boot for months and when I found it on sale here I couldn't help myself! On every level this boot delivers! The somewhat distressed leather is soft and thick and the color is beautiful (I got brown). The heel height is perfect and comfortable for a full day of wear. With the rounded toe I opted for a 7 (I am usually a 7.5) and it is perfect. The shaft is pretty wide but it sits well (not too slouchy) and looks great with jeans or leggings. (I do think its a bit awkward wearing jeans over the boot, however, with such a wide leg shaft.) In the week since I received these, I've worn them out a few times, mostly just around town but also to a very muddy/slushy festival. I cleaned them easily with a nubuck/suede brush - I think that they will definitely only get better with age and actual wear! I have never gotten more compliments on a pair of shoes as I have with these. I even had a man chase me down to get the name and brand so that he could surprise his girlfriend who had just fallen in love with them! They are pretty much boot perfection and will last a lifetime!

The boots are beautiful and exactly what I've been searching for--something not too western. The leather is very soft and feels great on. The boot is great for skinney jeans, as there is enough legg room. I can wear them all day and my feet will never hurt. I highly recommend these boots.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect boot, not too western, not too trendy. These fit the bill nicely. I am very impressed with the quality of the leather and over all craftsmanship. I believe that they'll last for quite a while.
I have very athletic (read large) calves, and moderately wide feet. I bought these in my normal size, and they fit like a glove. I don't think I'll be able to wear heavy socks, but that's fine with me. I'm able to fit my jeans into the shaft of this boot, which is a minor miracle as far as I'm concerned. :) The vintage, lightly distressed look is positively perfect. I bought the dark brown version, and I wouldn't change a thing. I look forward to wearing these with jeans, dresses, skirts and leggings.

so i bought these boots from endless.com, not amazon, but endless is owned by amazon so it didn't really make a difference. the good thing about ordering them through endless was that i got a one day FREE delivery, so they were shipped last night when i ordered them and arrived early afternoon today, which i was completely psyched about. endless also offers free returns, but i am NOT going to return these because they are just awesome.
i ordered the light tan color, unlike all the other reviews i read, because i have a pair of durango cowboy boots that are chocolate brown, so i wanted a different color. they are just a little bit darker than the picture online, but i didn't mind that. the leather is wonderful, which i was a little unsure about, because i had gone into belk to test out and try on a pair of any frye boot to see how they were and there were some pairs that were that more stiff, yet heavy leather which belies good quality. yet there were others that had that cheap, plasticy feeling, and i was a little unsure. the leather on these is really soft though and not very stiff. this is sort of good but also sort of bad because the leather tends to slouch, which i would like on any boot, but because the calf-part of the boot is so pronounced, it looks a little funny when it slouches too much...kind of like there's something inside the boot that's making it stick out like that. this pronounced calf isnt' really a problem for me like some of the other stick girls that wrote reviews, because i am an athletic build, with very solid, defined (if you wanna call them, big) calves and the calf part fits them. but the top of the boot fits a little snugly around my upper calf, just below my knee and i'd rather have a little room there, but it's ok. i just tried on a pair of bootcut jeans with them (since i can't wear skinny, it looks too weird with my thighs) and was able to squash down the shaft of the boot, tuck in the jeans, and then pull the boot back up and it worked fine. if you wear jeans over them, it looks great, but the little pull-up parts on the side can be seen underneath the boot, which i don't really care about, but still. something funny that i found was that the boots still look good squashed down. if you hid the calf part sticking out in the back, it'd look pretty good like that too. anyways, definitely get them, although i feel a little bad about shelling out $358, they'll last a lifetime, probably even longer so i don't feel guilty at all :).

I just got these boots in the mail today, haven't been able to wear them out yet but they fit perfectly & and really comfortable. I think they can basically go with anything and should last me for a long time. great price too..almost half the price of some other websites. in love with them!!

i have skinny mini legs, and they are a bit large around my calves, but i think that wearing some thick knee-high warm fall and winter socks will take care of that. i have also considered taking them to my local leather worker and asking if he can take them in a bit. the leather is beautiful and distressed just enough so you can scuff around in them and they dont look abused, but they dont look like they have been fake worn like some styles today.i love the way they work when i ride horse back. these boots were my daily drivers from day one!

These boots are wonderful, sexy and better than expected when they arrived! It took me a while to convince myself to spend so much money on a boot, but I'm glad I did! I have problems with the width of my feet and the fit of many shoes, but I ordered a 10 in these (usually wear a 9 1/2-10) and they fit perfectly. The leather is so soft and the whole boot seems to be very well-made. StreetModa was great to deal with as well - quick shipment. I am so happy with these. I will be wearing them all the time.
