Love these Boots!! They fit a little on the big side....I bought a half size smaller than usual, and they are perfect. Super soft and comfy.

I love the look of these boots and the quality of the workmanship. But, the boots are different in that the pitch of the heels of the left and right boots are different. I have a friend with a different style but the same problem. When I wear them for more than a couple of hours, it becomes very noticeable to me. With the cost being over $350.00 it seems wrong to be dealing with this. This is my 3rd pair of Frye boots with issues, and the only pair I didn't return. I am sorry that I didn't. I guess I was hoping that the problem would become less noticeable over time, but it is the opposite.

I love boots. Frye is right up there in my favorites.
These boots do run a little large, this is the second pair that I've purchased a half size down from the normal size that I wear. The fit is a little tight on one foot, but I know that they will stretch out a little bit and be PERFECT.
The only thing I was a little surprised by was how soft the leather was on the shaft.. the photos make the boots look like they could stand up on their own. The leather is so soft that the boots are slouchy in the midshaft area. I know this is the fashion, but I wasn't really expecting that. The color (sapphire)is so beautiful, though, that I think I can live with a little slouchy-ness.
All in all.. another fine purchase from Frye. I'm still a fan!

I've been looking for the perfect pair of classic dark brown boots & have had my eye on several pairs of Fryes in the $350-$450 range for a while. Because my calves/legs are slender, I've never felt comfortable ordering boots online, and was thrilled when I saw the Carson pull-on boots in a store while on a recent vacation. The price tag (for this exact shoe) was $355, far out of my normal price range, but the boots seemed worth it. I actually considered buying them then & there. Fortunately, I had the sense to look online before making the spurge! Amazon's price was the lowest I found on the internet, over $150 cheaper than retail! I am normally a size 7 or 7.5, so I was surprised when the 6.5 fit me perfectly. So glad I tried them on before ordering as this particular Frye style tends to run a bit larger than other styles. The quality of these boots is superior; I know I'll wear them for years to come! Thanks Amazon!

I bought these in buttermilk and can't say enough good things about them. Definitely my favorite pair of boots! They are comfortable and very soft beautiful leather. Every time that I wear them someone has commented on what a great looking pair of boots I have on. I will soon be buying this same boot in more colors!

So I have to admit, I have eleven pair of frye boots, and five of them are carsons....you just cannot go wrong with these boots. They are true to size, though I find the colors run a bit smaller than the browns and blacks, for whatever reason. They are so comfortable I can teach in them all day long and still go out after work and have no problem with sore feet. The leather is buttery soft and heavenly....and they maintain their look of quality for years. The soles can be slippery at first, but that is easily remedied with some concrete or a sandy surface. If you can find these on sale, don't even think twice, they are worth every penny....they go with everything, regardless of color, skirts, jeans, pants, short shorts, they are a must have!

I wanted these boots for almost two years before I finally bought them. They are gorgeous, comfortable, and really high quality workmanship. I wear them as often as possible!

I just love, love those boots. Not only they are comfortable, they go with almost everything. I've been wearing them with summer dresses. Make sure you go one size smaller. I usually wear 6 1/2 and got size 6 that fits perfectly. I bought a handbag with its matching color and they even look better. First time for me to buy Frye product, I will always buy shoes from them from now on.

I balked at the price of these boots even though the color I got was one of the cheaper ones, I had never spent this much on footwear before....once I got them and put them on I saw why the other reviewers were so enthusiastic. Buttery leather feel, superior comfort, and just plain cool boots! I have received tons of compliments everywhere I wear them! They look good with a skirt or dress as well as jeans. I am not the "country" type but loved the plainness of these as you can go in other directions with them. I'm not sure what they're treated with but I spilled a glass of red wine on them the other night!!!! YIKES... I thought they were ruined, but I rubbed the stain with a little shout stain remover and they cleaned right up. It darkened the leather (slightly) but in a pleasant way and not noticeably enough to cause comment from anyone. If you are on the fence, go for it. These boots are awesome and with the classic style will last you for years.

I wanted these for over a year. Worth the price. I'm a size 8 and I ordered an 8, fits great (just a little snug like a new shoe/boot should be that will loosen up during wear).
