I am so pleased with this purchase! I was worried about the fit after reading reviews of other styles, and this being my first pair of Frye boots, but these fit pretty well. I wear either an 8 1/2 or 9, depending on style, so I ordered the 9 and put them on right away when they arrived, wore them for 6 hours around the house & no problems with sore feet or rubbing so far. My hubby thought I looked pretty good in them with my levi's skinny jeans, lol!

The reason I picked these boots was the zip; I wanted a taller boot, but didn't want to struggle getting my calfs into a boot without a zip. These fit my calf perfectly, even with skinny jeans tucked in. The taller shaft will work both with jeans & short skirts, which is exactly what I wanted. The Maple color is unique and quite nuetral. The price with Amazon prime was also the best I could find with free shipping.

I LOVE these boots. I have "thick" calves,and can still tuck in my jeans and zip these with room to spare ( ie they are still comfy). The leather is so soft and dreamy. I was hestitant about the square toe, but love the look now. The zipper adds a lot to the boot. I am one to wear mostly jeans, and these boots look great tucked (showing off the zipper) or with a bootleg pant. Super cute with dresses and skirts as well.

I am extremely pleased with these boots. I was a little hesitant with the low heel and square toe, but they look great! The leather is soft and supple and both the foot of the boot as well as the shaft are roomy. I wear 5 wide and have large 14" calves and these fit with plenty of room to tuck in skinny jeans. Due to the fact that these are more slouchy, I wouldn't recommend to someone with slender calves. They may run too big unless you plan on tucking jeans into them. Very stylish with a bit of an edge having the zipper on the outside of the boot. Great boots for walking around the city in.

I LOVE Frye shoes. I have multiple boots, heels and sandals. Their products are made extremely well and worth the money you spend. This boot for me was too roomy in the top foot/ ankle area. I returned this item and instead purchased their paige boot instead. It fit a bit better around top foot/ankle area. I was very sad to do so, as I LOVED the style of the toe area. Instead of a boring rounded front, it just had a bit more of an edge to it. It's worth the try on this. It really is a lovely boot. The leather was very nice quality.

I bought these knowing they were going to be a little "sloppy" or "slouchy" looking and I love them. They are my 4th pair of Frye's and I have yet to be disappointed. They are adorable with skinny jeans, skirts, etc. and are a great boot with slight distressing. (They look a little dressier/shinier in the photo they they acutally are. I ordered an 8.5 as that is my usual size and they fit great. I like a little looser fit so I might have been able to get an 8, but my true size is just how I like it. Great boot, get them while you can!

I have about 10 pairs of Fryes. All boots. I love these. I have the brown. I suggest ordering 1/2 size smaller. The only issue is that they are a bit baggy around the ankle in the front. I have very thin legs & ankles. Maybe it's just my legs they look weird on. Funny looking or not, they are sper comfy & I wear them ALL the time. A/ B+
