This product was a drop-in replacement for the original power supply on my HP Pavilion. It is not quite the same as the original, though. The original had a two-speed fan that ran very quietly when the computer was cool. The fan on this power supply runs at a single speed meaning the computer always has an audible fan noise when running. It is not very loud, however, and it is nice having the computer working again.
