I've used a lot of different grooming brushes and combs over the years and this is the best deshedding tool out there. I pulled so much hair off my sheltie (who gets deshedding bi/monthly) that it looked like another animal lying there next to her. I could have kept going because apparently she has an undercoat to end all undercoats but I figured she'd had enough after an hour. It did not seem to hurt her but I angled it upwards a bit so the metal didn't dig into her skin. Great product! The waterless shampoo is a great product in-between baths. A little difficult to use on really hairy dogs because you have to work it in, but once finished, well worth the effort and extends the bath time by a week at least.

Best thing I have ever use on my dog and cats. Shedding truly reduced like 80%. So happy and telling everyone I know about this product.

I have a white boxer, and a pug. In the 15 years, I've had boxers, she sheds the worst. Everything is covered in light colored dog hair and I hate it! Received this today and opened it right up to try it. Waterless shampoo is great. They smell great and it was easy to use. The tool is wonderful. I can't believe how much hair it pulled off them. My pug hasn't been fond of grooming, but he sat relaxed while I did his coat. My son was on call to help hold him down, but it wasn't really necessary. Easy to use. Very good results. Be sure to do it in a spot where you can easily clean up a ton of dog hair (will be using it outside when the weather gets nicer!!) My boxer girl enjoyed it as well. She's very thin skinned and thin coated but this still was gentle on her skin and took a ton of excess hair off her. I definitely want to invest in a smaller one for 'detail' work. But the large is wonderful for the necks, and backs. I highly recommend this set.
