My 3 year border collie mix has very sensitive, allergic skin. I have taken her to the vet multiple times for treatment including antihistamines and steroid injections. I have tried other supplements but she either did not like the taste or they did not work. I started using the Furminator Dogfood Supplement about 2 and a half months ago. I noticed a significant decrease in her scratching within 1 week. She likes the taste and comes running when I get the bottle. I have only had to give her her benadryl 3-4 times since she has been on the Furminator supplement. And no more visits to the vet for treatment. My daughter is also giving it to her allergic pit bulls and they like the taste too. I highly recommend this product.

This is an awesome product. I have a 1 and a half years old boxer and She had some skin problems on her back wich was very dry and was losing a lot of hair... After 2 weeks using this product (only once a day, not even as recommended...) her back skin and complete coat shines and you dont see all that hair over the house. You can feel the coat softer.

I combined this with the FURminator deShedding Dog Treats, 12 Ounce.

Really good product and you really can see the difference...

Since we have started using this product on our Doberman, he sheds about 50% less than he used to and his coat is very shiny. I will continue to buy this product. The price for it on Amazon is awesome. It is half the price of the same product in pet stores.

In the beginning, you have to give less than 1 teaspoon, because the dog need to used to the product. It is better 1 day yes other no, until your dog stop have kind of diarrea. when your dog starts poop normally, you give a little more, until you give the right dosage, recommended for your dog weight. My dog is not shedding too much like before, I started see results.

I have a German Shepherd/Corgi Mix that I love dearly - except for the fact that she sheds worse than any dog that I have ever seen. I can literally brush enough fur off of my dog in one sitting to make 3 large cats and she will still continue to shed after that. When I saw this product, I was so happy to see the reviews and hopeful that it would make a difference.

My dog has been using this for about 2 months and her shedding has not improved one bit - in fact, I think it may be getting worse. We use the recommended dosage every day, religiously and I have been crossing my fingers that it would work - but nothing.

We were using Brewer's Yeast prior to purchasing FURminator supplement and I did notice a huge improvement with the Brewer's Yeast. So, needless to say - we will be switching back to the Brewer's Yeast.

We have a Chocolate Lab who would shed enough in a week to make another dog!! It wasn't fun vacuuming hair tumbleweeds from the hallways 3 times a week so we figured we had nothing to lose by trying this. It took a few weeks, but the shedding has DRAMATICALLY decreased! We just finished the 32 oz bottle and our dog has a much shinier and more healthy coat!

I have been using this product for the past six months on my almost 13 yr. old Dalmatian who weighs about 46-lbs. I use it once a day (about 3-tsp, which equals 1-Tbsp, or 1/2 fl oz, or 15-ml). Her coat now shines and feels silky to the touch, and I don't see all that hair over the house now. I just wish I had learned about this sooner. Though to be honest, my Dal didn't start shedding excessively until about a year ago when I moved to Georgia. And I must say she really does like the taste. She licks her bowl clean!!

I do combine this supplement with the FURminator waterless deShedding shampoo & conditioner which I use about once every six weeks. It really helps to remove more of the dead, loose fur, as well as cleaning the whole coat. And I think it has a nice smell too.

I recommend these two products and in fact I am an online now to buy more. Amazon.com DOES have the best prices! Buy with confidence.

I purchased this product after using the Furminator deshedding tool. (Which works great) I add a squirt of this oil on top of my dog's dry food at both feedings. Her coat was somewhat dry before and she shed handfuls of hair. Her coat is now smooth and glossy. She doesn't shed much at all even though it's now 100+ degrees (I live in the Phoenix area). I no longer have to vacuum everyday and my washer and dryer are not coated with black hair when I wash her bedding. I highly recommend this product. The value purchasing it through Amazon is also great. This retails for ~$25.00 in pet stores.

I adopted a Shepherd mix last November who sheds more than both my lab mixes combined. I had previously purchased a Furminator for my cat which worked wonders but it seemed like the hair never quit coming out of this dog. So I bought the shampoo and conditioner which also helped a little. When I bought this, I made sure to quit using the Furminator and the shampoo and conditioner so I would know if this product was worth the money. It is, definitely and I will continue buying this and recommend it to all my friends. The supplement, after just a couple weeks, has reduced my Shepherd mix's shedding to almost none, more than the brushing and special shampoo and conditioner combined. Love it!!! A+++++

I was so impressed with the Furminator and the Furminator Shampoo, that I purchased the Furminator Solution and the Furminator Supplements as well. We are on our 1st re-order of the supplements.

We currently have two Golden Retrievers so the promise of any product that helps with shedding has my interest. These products are so effective that my only complaint is that they were not invented years ago. Since we started using Furminator products, the shedding is kept to a minimum (I've read in other reviews that even this improves with time and use of the products.)

The products are made of high quality natural ingredients. The dogs love the smell of the Furminator Shampoo and the Furminator Solution. The Furminator Supplements drive them wild. They love the flavor, lick their bowls clean and then return hoping there's something they missed. The Furminator tool is easy to use and effective.

Here is the end result: I have two great big hairy yellow dogs with minimal shedding. Their coats are as soft as silk and their fur has a healthy glow. Their last Furminator grooming was several days ago and they still smell fresh and fabulous.
