The GE FXHSC fits any other brand of water filter housing that uses 9-3/4-Inch x 4-1/2-Inch filter cartridges. Fits any brand of whole house water filter system that uses standard 9-3/4 x 4-1/2 filter cartridges. The FXHSC is a great filter, with a very low pressure drop compared to the FXHTC filter. Our system filters lake water (Lake Champlain) & uses the FXHSC filter in combination with 2 other filters & a UV light. It picks up a fair amount of sediment but the water pressure stays fairly constant over the life of the filter, which is great. No complaints & the price is right.

You can also save some money by using Culligan R50-BBSA cartridge filter, it,s an exact replacement only its 50 microns instead of 30 on the G.E filter, it may last a little longer.
