My daughter ADORES her puppy. We have the solid white one in the picture. My daughter is almost 5, and this is by far her favorite stuffed animal. It's small enough to take to school for nap time, the carrying case that you decorate with stickers is a fun extra. My daughter likes to pretend that this is her own little pet (I have a cat, my husband has a dog, now she has a puppy all her own).

This isn't going to teach your child much, but it's an adorable soft toy that is perfect for little imaginations.

My 4-year-old received this last week for her birthday, and she loves it! She had such a great time decorating all of the accessories. She used every single sticker that was included.
I feel that this would be an ideal toy for a child that was older though. I read the other reviews, and would have to say that some of the stickers have already fallen off. Fortunately, I haven't noticed a problem with GLUE(???). I supervised the decorating, and made sure that she only put the bows on the doggie, and not any other stickers, as I know what would happen to the fur.
My daughter loves using stickers, and has been wanting a purse/bag animal, and this toy combined both of them. The price seams reasonable to me, and I plan on purchasing this toy for other girls we know.

I purchased this Designer Doggie for my niece for Christmas, and while she initially loved it she later ran into some problems. She decided that she wanted to decorate not only the dog's carrying case but the dog as well. Unfortunately, when the stick-ons were removed from the dog it left behind some of the glue and subsequently dirt has stuck all over those portions of the dog where the stickers were removed. So I guess as long as only the bag gets decorated and the stickers don't ever get removed you should be fine.
