Highly pigmented, 3.3mm leads slide smoothly over the paper, creating rich fields of intense color. The brilliant, permanent colors are acid-free and non-toxic with good fade resistance. The pencils' triangular shape and unique soft-grip-zone provide a secure, comfortable hold. Leads are break-resistant and presharpened for immediate use. I've loved Faber Castell color pencils from my childhood and now my kids use them too. I recently ordered this set and it's excellent. Beautiful shades, easy to grip and just very good value for what you pay. I'd highly recommend them.
