FabricLive 10 takes a trip through the drum n bass scene of 2003; multi-faced and party-based. Tough, twisted, and innovative, Fabio rages through the straight up nu-skool of Calibre, Total Science and Social Security, takes in a masterclass from Special Forces and revels in J Majiks warm textures. Special Forces returns to drum n bass with the brooding, Robert Owens-fronted "Miracle", while Social Security offer the classic intensity of "Take Away". Dancefloor favorite "3 A.M" crashes Bebel Gilbertos "So Nice" adding summer spirit by showcasing Marky & XRSs Brazilian drum n bass flavas. FabricLive 10 hears a major drum n bass talent in room-rocking mood.

Excellent Album,

I disagree with the first review. I have been a huge DnB listener for many, many years and this is one of my favorite DnB albums of all time! Sure, there are a couple songs on this album that are below average, and I agree the Mexican is an annoying tune, but overall, if you love Fabio's track selection and liquid sound, then this is an awesome album to pick up. There really are some amazing tracks here - and I still listen to this album all the time even though it's from 2003! Fabio puts out quality liquid/intelligent DnB every time! Definitely worth getting!

Definitly a mixed bag,

I'm a huge fan of .03, so it's not like I'm new to this kind of music. That said, Fabriclive.10 is a mixed bag, at best.Venus & Mars gets the CD off to a great start, with a nice bassy beat. Share the Blame carries this onwards well, at least, until it starts to fade into Squash--a song seemingly 'borrowed' from Fabriclive.03 to the best of my knowledge. I say 'borrowed' in that it really does not belong in this CD--the introduction into the track at the end of Share the Blame is forced at best: it sounds more like getting your face slapped by a carp, as it's basically just a fade in. It's completely the wrong tone for the song and is quite jarring when it comes in. Fortunatly it's short and the CD resumes its bassy beat and good stuff. I think I'm running out of space, so to sum it up, don't get this CD. Get one of the other Fabriclive ones which I am sure are better--I reccomend .03.
