craig richards delivered the opening cd to the fabric series with the superb fabric 1. this is nothing like the first, but its just as good. disc 1 is comprised mainly of tech-house, "schaffel" beats, and minimal grooves. superbly mixed, and some great tracks. for me, the real treat is cd2, a collection of quirky, experimental techno, idm, and some filthy electro...

3.0 out of 5 stars so-so
It could be better. Disc 1 is only good on tracks 5 and 6, and is to housey on the rest. Disc 2 has too many annoying breakbeat/drum'n'bass style basslines. Both discs have their good parts, but you have to wade through to munch junk to be worth it. A mix should be good from beginning to end, and with my tastes, Tyrant doesn't cut it.
