Beautiful quilts. Easy technique.,

Don't be fooled by the prettiness of these quilts; gorgeous can--and is in this case--easy. Breaking the construction process apart, you'll see that it's very simple. Joanne pieces a background for her quilts, then cuts her "collage" pieces from printed fabric and appliques them in place. For instance, the flowers in a still life of flowers are simply cut out of a large print flowery fabric. Easy! Use of motifs from printed fabrics rather than a calico is what gives these quilts their pow.Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful book for collage quilts. Have seen many made up and have been told they are easy to do.
