Scrapbooking continues to be popular among crafters, and Miller here refines the process--narrows the focus, in other words--to embellishing a scrapbook with, as the title indicates, fabrics and fabric-made flowers. Beginning and more-advanced scrapbookers alike will appreciate the author's clear directions and beautifully arranged pages as she proceeds from one project to the next, arranging the projects in groupings according to the type of fabric accents featured. So, sheer fabric can be partially drawn across a scrapbook page to give a drawn-drape effect; a doily adds an elegant backdrop to a special photograph; felt can add an I-wanna-touch texture to a page; and quilted pages will be a new and exciting activity for many crafters. I was so excited when I found this book. Being a long-time hoarder of fabric and vintage lace, I now know what to do with it. I'd given up quilting, but hadn't given up the stash of material even though my interests now focused on scrapbooking and card making.
This book tells the techniques for incorporating ribbons, stitched effects, fabric prints and even actual clothing in your scrapbooks. The sample pages are inspiring and quite varied.
I like that it gives a number of uses that don't involve sewing so I can make a doily envelope for a page without pulling out needle and thread. There are iron-on stitch effects, and easy paper quilt patterns.
There are also lots of flowery pages using silk flowers, floral fabrics and paper flowers. This book has some really lovely scrapbook pages to get your creative ideas flowing.

This artist/author once again has the ability to surpass herself in this incredible book. It is apparent how she gives her heart and soul into each and every project she attempts. This book will definitely help all scrapbookers from the beginner to the professional in making your cherished photos and memories the absolute best keepsakes they can be. She breaks down the steps so you don't feel overwhelmed or intimidated at all.

Jill is always innovative with her ideas using some very surprising and simple products to make your layouts extraordinary while not overdoing it.
