This book was recommended to me by an experienced textile artist and as such I just placed my order on this recommendation. I am thrilled with the book and it's illustrations and instructions. This will suit those who have some felting knowledge and also beginners who seek a high standard for this craft. There are many projects to wet your appetite all of which have step by step instructions and illustrations to show the way. Everything is set out beautifully showing what you need and the techniques necessary. This is a 'must have' purchase for all those who love this fibre art. It takes felting beyond the basics and opens up a Pandora's box of ideas.

Another fabulous book by by these two excellent felters and teachers. There are a lot of felt books out there but few of them actually teach and I think all you have to do is look at the author's own work to get a real sense of their skill level. These two women are fantastic felters and they set out to actually tell you how they do it, not the vague teasing instructions of most books nor the hideous "anyone can do this in a minute" projects. This book is useful for beginners to advanced felters. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wish more books were like it.

This is an inspiring felt book for those with some experience in felting. The two authors push the limits of felt, dye and silk and share the results of their years of experimentation. I first borrowed the book from a library, but was so enamoured with the ideas and how they could be achieved that I had to own the book and start working some of them myself.

Machine Needle Felting is my recent passion. I didn't want to do "cute" but wild and funky and this book, although it's focus is wet felting, is an absolute eye opener to what can be done with felting. I recommend this book if you want to start out being creative or if you want to jump off more creatively!

This is a showcase for two wonderful felters. They chose scarves to demonstrate different techniques, but you can adapt those ideas for any felt item. There were several examples of different kinds of braid, some 3D effects introducing pebbles into the felt and removing them after it has dried in that shape. There is a good range of styles from the subtle to the wild side. My only caveat is that it really is two books each written by one of the team. So there is a slight element of instructional repetition. It is very inspiring to look at the galleries, and get even more ideas for your next piece of felt art.
