It is true that a frame can make (or break) a picture, and it can even enhance the value of a photograph, illustration, or drawing. Australian folk artist Spencer applies her sophisticated design perspective to frames we can all craft and use without relying on expensive equipment or needing years and years of experience. In fact, forget the woodworking tools; all that's needed are ready-made frames, paints, brushes, and some common household items and natural objects (for instance, sponges, feathers, and an index finger or two).
