This is a must-have for any pug-lover, especially pug lovers who love to buy their pugs outfits! Lisa creates all of her pug Charlie's outfits from scratch, which is amazing considering the elaborate nature of some of the costumes. The photos in this collection are fantastic, and Charlie is a great model. She is equally adept at tackling Marilyn Monroe or Genghis Khan! Even non-pug lovers will marvel at the beautiful photos and costumes and at the sweetness of Charlie.

For anyone with a love all Pugs - this is a great picture book !

FABULOUS PUGS is a must own for pug fans and animal lovers. Lisa Knapp's pug is indeed a super model: she can wear anything and look fantastic! Now, my pug has a crush on her! The outfits--extensively researched--are incredibly stunning and authentic. Lisa is stellar when it comes to detail; each and every costume her pug wears is meticulously made; moreover, she has an excellent sense of film and history. This book is a great gift for anybody who appreciates extraordinary creativity. This book is written with comedic flair and terrific photography. Yes, the outfits are well-made and well-researched, but the book's charm lies in the wonderful humor of this delightfully deadpan, patient Pug, Charlie, acting out the larger-than-life historical roles her "mom" has designed for her. First Pug on the Moon? Queen Victoriapug? Andy Warholpug? Marilyn Monroepug? Charlie portrays them all with a dignity totally at odds with her fabulously-dressed situation.

You don't have to like Pugs or dogs to enjoy this book -- just bring your appreciation of the absurd, and you will be entertained!

I really don't think you don't have to own a pug to love this book. Humorous and adorable. I loved it!!

This adorable book features Lisa Knapp's adorable, chubby pug in a wide (and I do mean wide) variety of costumes. The adorable curly tailed dog is quite the canine fashion plate! The costumes are professionally done and the curly tailed model shows a very zaftig form in the outfits she has on. The costumes are nothing short of brilliant and grace the curly tailed model quite well. Kudos!

I am not even a dog owner but have a friend with 2 pugs and saw this on his coffeetable. It is hilarious. It is adorable!! I can't tell you how novel and funny it is. I remarked that the people who thought up the entries for the book must have been rolling on the floor! One of my favorites is Notorious P.U.G. Worth every penny, and done very well. High quality publication, colors are outstanding.

The calendar is a must for pug lovers. All months are adorably dressed and as cute as any pug can be.
