Sometimes a busy businessmouse like me needs a nice, relaxing vacation. But of all the rotten rats' luck -- every time I tried to get away, disaster struck. My aunt Dizzy Fur's mouse hole caught on fire, my office was flooded, and our printing press broke down! When I was finally ready to depart, all the good trips were booked up. I was stuck in a flea-ridden old hotel, sharing a room with a bunch of Gerbil Scouts! I couldn't wait to get back to my comfy home in New Mouse City....

From the Author

Oh, what a day! I had just published New Mouse City's first phone book--and almost every single number was wrong. My customers were out for my fur. So when Thea, Trap, and my nephew Benjamin asked me to join their quest for a legendary island covered in silver, I agreed. But no sooner had we set out then we were attacked by a ship of pirate cats. They mousenapped us and threatened to make us their dinner. Would we escape with our lives...or find ourselves in the soup? --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cats no match for Geronimo!, May 27, 2004
A Kid's Review
This book was awesome! Geronimo and his cousin get captured by pirate cats who want to eat them for dinner. Even though I love Geronimo Stilton, I sort of liked the Black Bandit in this book. Pirates are just so cool. The part when the pirate cats were going to eat Geronimo was the scariest. The best part is when he finds a special treasure!

I like the way the book is printed with the words being different colors and styles. It has lots of pictures and maps too. It makes it easier for me to read it. I am going to read all fifty titles as they are translated from Italian to English!

5.0 out of 5 stars One Brave Mouse, February 17, 2005
A Kid's Review
The big G Geronimo has done it again with a great adventure story, Attack of the Bandit Cats. The illustrator of Attack of the Bandit Cats is Matt Wolf. Can't imagine it? Well believe it the writer of a book with a mouse had a guy with wolf in his name illustrate. Also captured by cats was probably Geronimo, Thea, Trap, and Benjamin's the five main mice worst nightmare.

Thea, Benjamin, and Trap convince Geronimo Stilton to go with them to Silver Island, but instead they get captured by cat bandits. The bandit cats want to cook Geronimo and his friends so they can eat them for dinner. They manage to set a fire and scare the cats so bad that they forget that the ship was made of metal and they still jump off their ship. Geronimo, Thea, Benjamin, and Trap discover the treasure room were they find the first quarter to mouse kind. Then they become famous, but they don't keep all the money.

This book is great and I can't believe this book wasn't out already when I was born. It has great illustration with fancy words. Incredible gold or even platinum sentence fluency.[She sounded as if her tail was stuck in slobbertooths high speed blender!]This book is out of this world and can't be beat, five star not three or four five!

1.0 out of 5 stars Some references inappropriate for kids!, January 15, 2009
By

(REAL NAME)
While a cute series overall, this book made some very inappropriate references for a childrens book. Pg. 15 reads..... "I just called the Grand Cheddar Hotel to book a weekend with my new sweetie pie. I got Ratcatraz Prison instead. They offered me two rooms with a view of the barbed wire fence!" I couldn't help but giggle. My sister goes through sweetie pies the way a starving rat goes through a plate of nachos!
