A workout for your face :),
This review is from: Face Aerobics [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video gives you exercises to strengthen and tone all 52 facial muscles which are directly attached to the skin above them. This 20-minute program will work each muscle group. The video also contains skin care suggestions. If you are not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a Dermal Tone machine, then this might be a great solution. These exercises will increase blood flow and oxygen to the surface of your skin. Judith Olivia personally guides you through all the exercises. I found this video to be the best one I have tried as far as face exercises go. The dramatic effects can be realized in as little as a few weeks. No cosmetic on earth is going to tone your face the way this video will.~The Rebecca Review

Disappointment galore!,

I have previously used Eva Fraser's video and book, but for the life of me, I couldn't remember her name to reorder a copy (gave my previous copies to friends). A search online brought up Olivia's Face Aerobics instead. And after reading reviews, I ordered it. And now I am kicking myself silly for being so dumb. I would give the video zero in a heartbeat. But I give it two stars because I know the exercises for the eyes and the forehead and jowls work. I know that because even before getting the video, I had been doing them on and off and have managed to keep those areas looking good. Those that gave this video good reviews have obviously very little experience in facial exercises. What you get for $20 on Olivia's tape is a handful of exercises that one could get free online. Exercises that only work your upper face and jowls...and then your are bored to death by a plethora of ads for Olivia's beauty products. In fact, the ads take up so much of the tape that they should have called it, "Toning your face with Olivia's Products". Oh, in all fairness, you do get a brief workout session (emphasis on the word BRIEF); more like a preamble to the ads. And you finish the video with your cheeks wondering when you're gonna get to them (exercise-wise). Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with facial creams; but there's something wrong with false advertisement. If I'm going to pay $20 for an exercise video, I expect to get a video of exercises, not ads. If I had wanted to learn about skin care products, I'd have bought a skin-care video or stayed up late and watched infomercials! Olivia's video falls far below Eva Fraser's "Facial Workout Look 15 Years Younger" which gives what it promises. With Eva, you not only feel the firmness all over your face after a few days, but you actually see it. Your cheeks get such a lift that your laugh lines show only when you smile, and even when you do smile, your face looks plumper and younger. None of that thin old-looking skin that creases easily. And after a few weeks, if you pinch your lower cheek, you don't just pinch thin skin (like I'd expect with Olivia's program since it leaves out that area!), you instead pinch a chunk of thick muscular young-feeling skin. It's like your skin glued itself to the muscles underneath! So if you are just worried about frown lines and jowls and are interested in a new a line of beauty products, then I say get Olivia's tape. But if you are more interested in toning your entire face by exercise, with the freedom to focus on problem areas and to work on those exclusively, then I say get Eva's book and video. It'll be worth your while!

Seeing amazing results!,
This review is from: Face Aerobics [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I bought the Face Aerobics video after reading about Miss Olivia in Shape Magazine. Exercise works for the body, why not for the face? At first, I was concerned that facial exercises would cause MORE wrinkles- that's what I've heard before. But, Olivia says that in the past, other facial exercises DID cause problems because they were stretching the skin. Face Aerobics exercises were designed to strenghthen and tone up the facial muscles WITHOUT stretching the delicate skin on the face. So, I took the plunge and followed the video's advice- doing the exercises almost everyday for two weeks. Wow! I don't look tired anymore. The eyebags were the first to go, and then my jawline and cheeks perked up. I do not look "pulled" like I've seen on many cosmetic surgery patients. People comment that I have lost weight or look great even without makeup on. Now I do Face Aerobics 2-3 times a week to maintain my new face. I think I look 10 years younger. (I am 53) But, I feel 20 years younger! I would say, BUY this video. It's easy to follow along with rather than try to imitate the exercises out of a book. I've learned to do the exercises sowell, that I do them while I wash the dishes, walk the dog and even when I take a shower. Thank you Judith Olivia for Face Aerobics!
