I have purchased three albums by Axelle Red and each delivers at least eight songs that I truly enjoy and listen to often. Many albums, even by popular artists, have only a couple songs that are enjoyable and the rest are worthless filler in my humble opinion - but not with Axelle! ... and even when I enjoy an artist, it is rare for me to be able to listen to more than a few songs consecutively because they begin to sound alike - but again, not with Axelle! Her albums feature a great variety of sounds and emotions. Sample her music both here and at her website. If you like what you hear, you won't be dissapointed with any of her albums - and this "Face A / Face B" album is my favorite. Be sure to check out "Vole", "Blanche Neige", and "Je Me Fache". On listening to "Je Me Fache" I find myself thinking that she could sing a great title track for a James Bond (007) movie!

This is my 2nd Axelle Red CD purchased. It's no way as good as "Toujour Moi" CD but #6 song is ok. If you have to choose between her CDs, go buy the "Toujour Moi" CD. That one has 3 really good songs "Mon Futur Proche", "J'Ai Jamais Dit" & "Ce Matin."
If you just can't get enough of Axell then buy the Face A/Face B. |
