4.0 out of 5 stars Vintage Dice
This CD is vintage Andrew "Dice" Clay. If you loved him in the early 90's, you will love him even more now. Like a fine wine, he has gotten funnier with age.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dice still isn't funny
This CD stinks. He should be ashamed to charge people money for it. Save your money and buy a Chris Rock CD. Dice rules nothing.

5.0 out of 5 stars clean comedy STINKS, September 19, 2000
This review is from: Face Down Ass Up (Audio CD)
Thank God for the Legend Andrew Dice Clay. I have never heard such raunchy brilliance in my life. He's just sooo dirty. I thought his last album (Filth) was vile, but this one really took the cake for Pete's sake. He makes fun of midgets, fat people, Jim Norton and relationships. This album is absolutely jam packed with mule juice and marriage material. The Legend has really out done himself this time. His humor is outweighed only by his handsomeness. I saw him in Las Vegas and laughed so hard I pinched my helmet. This guy is absolutely terrific. If you don't buy this one, you really are bonkers. I have heard many comedy albums over the years, and this one makes them all sound like Club Soda Kenny. I love you Legend. Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Undisputed King of Comedy returns!, September 15, 2000
This review is from: Face Down Ass Up (Audio CD)
Andrew Dice Clay is on of those people I had begun wondering what happened to. I remember when his last album "The Day the Laughter Died Vol. 2" was released and how bad it was. It didn't even seem like comedy to me. I pretty much thought he was finished. But when I saw him on Craig Kilburn's show I saw him mention a new CD and I thought I was dreaming. Well the CD is by far his best since his first CD. He is as raunchy as ever (its Dice! What do you expect?) but the laughs just keep on coming. Anyone who admires the comic the slightest bit should enjoy this album a lot. It is one of the best comedy albums I have heard recently (along with John Pinette's "Show Me The Buffet") and a sign that the Dice we all know and love is back and as funny as ever.

4.0 out of 5 stars He's still strikes the funny bone, September 14, 2000

New material, very, very funny man. Thanks for bringing great "real" humor that everyday people can laugh at. Too bad Nancy S. is just trying to boost "Jackies" floundering career. Did Jackie ever sell out Madison Square Garden? Dice did, for good reason, he IS funny! 50,000 people can't be wrong! He's back !!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dice is the Master Craftsman of Trash, September 19, 2000

The Beatles doing "Hey, Jude". Sammy Sousa batting one outta the park. Air Jordan dunks one. Ali knocking out some dummy. The Diceman and his "Filth". Classic. Like Picasso with a brush, Dice is the master craftsman of trash. It's good to see "The Artist formerly known as a cleaned-up sitcom star" back doing what he does best! I love the greasy cheeked girls on the cover too! Dice Rules, Yesterday, Today, and Forever.

5.0 out of 5 stars masterpiece, September 16, 2000
This review is from: Face Down Ass Up (Audio CD)
Dice is back! It is such a pleasure to hear from Dice again with a whole new act of filth. This CD is so refreshing. In these politically correct times it's good to know there's a comic out there with some balls. This CD is non stop belly laughs. The critics are going to say it's offensive. Good! Offensive to who? Soccer Mom's? Beautiful! I hope there so appalled when they hear it that they smash there minivan into a tree! This is the funniest comedy album released in the last 10 years. Everyone should buy it just to support freedom of speech. If you're looking for cute, safe comedy, go watch Dharma and Greg. If you want REAL comedy buy this CD!

4.0 out of 5 stars Andrew Dice Clay - 'Face Down, *ss Up' (Capitol) 4 1/2 stars, May 7, 2007
This review is from: Face Down Ass Up (Audio CD)
Review # 46. Most recent release I've seen in stores or online from the foul-mouthed comic from Brooklyn. After listening to 'Face Down', I was fully convinced the 'ol Diceman still has it. Snippets here I liked best were "Big Head", "Midgets 2000" (freaking hilarous!), "Banana Nose", "KY2 Wife" (have always loved the way this guy purposely mis-pronounces some of his words), "Pencil Room" and "Don't Marry Her". Subjects here tackled include dating a geek girl's mom, refusing to marry a girl JUST because she tells you she loves you and avoiding society's low lifes. Can't BELIEVE it that now, twenty years later after I hear Dice Clay mention, "hickory dickory dock, your mom was..." I'm still in stitches. Highly recommended. At least a hundred laughs on this CD release.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dice is Back on top!!!!!, September 16, 2000

I just listened to the new CD and thought it is his best to date. I recently attended 2 soldout shows in Vegas at the Venetian and saw some of the material live. I can't think of one comic other than DICE that really makes me laugh so hard that my head aches.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still Politically Incorrect!, September 14, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Face Down Ass Up (Audio CD)
Hysterical! Dice proves he's still politically incorrect and funny. Not for the under 18 crowd! Listening to Dice is a lot more entertaining than listening to Gore and Bush drone on about nothing. Move over Howard Stern. You've been eclipsed.
