Miranda Louise is a Blues singer who lives near Nashville, TN. Miranda has been in the business her entire life and is constantly evolving her stage presence. I have seen her perform live many times and what always astonishes me is the giant voice that comes from such a little body. Miranda mixes with the crowd and has gained many fans, some which will travel hundreds of miles to see her perform. Some people have named their children after her.

This album is actually her second. Her first album was a 2,500 print and she had to sell most of those herself at her gigs. I own 2 of those and have convinced many of my friends to see her and purchase her music.

Faces has quite a variety of blues. From the fast high energy songs, to the slow, deliberately sad and really blue Face in My Dreams. A really fun song is Law and an Ambulance. Some how she gets these words to rhyme. Hound Dog has unique interpertation. Heavy on the double meanings are the sultry Drop Down and Big Long Sliding Thing. A fun song is Give Me Some Sugar.

If you spend your money on this album, you will not be sorry and you will become a fan like me! Miranda, I love you! If you see her sing, bring her chocolate! Eddie Louisville, KY
