Robert Vlahakis is a teacher in the Shoreham-Wading River School District for 24 years. He has also coaches lacrosse, soccer, and basketball for a total of 22 years. In addition, he served on the Sierra Club National Board of Education, from 1991-1993.

As parents of a high school lacrosse player, we find ourselves using this magazine almost daily. With the listing of the college teams, coaches and schedules it is an invaluable tool. The Academic Reference Guide section has allowed us to instantly know whether a particular school is a fit for our son on an academic, economic and athletic level. Face=off '99 is kept next to our Peterson Guide to Colleges. The greatest $12 we ever spent.
